Allwyn Partners with Levelling Up Goals Project to Promote Social Mobility in the UK

Allwyn, a prominent European lottery firm and a subsidiary of the Czech Republic’s SAZKA Group, has partnered with Justine Greening’s “Levelling Up Goals” project. This decision underscores Allwyn’s commitment to promoting equitable prospects throughout the United Kingdom.

Allwyn will deliver a thorough “Levelling Up Impact Report” demonstrating its contributions by adhering to the initiative’s 14 goals. The organization feels that lotteries should have a measurable, beneficial influence on society and sees this as an opportunity to generate possibilities through its own activities.

Greening, a well-known social advocate and former Secretary of Education, expressed her delight in working with Allwyn and its CEO, Robert Chvátal. She thinks Allwyn has the ability to make a substantial contribution to communities all around the UK.

The “Levelling Up Goals” project, co-founded by Greening, connects businesses, government agencies, and universities to work together to promote social mobility. The program provides a defined framework for tracking progress and driving significant change by concentrating on important life phases, from early childhood to adulthood.

Allwyns Chairman, Sir Keith Mills, conveyed his excitement about the alliance, emphasizing the company’s dedication to enhancing the lottery and transforming it into a catalyst for positive change. He expressed eagerness to work alongside Ms. Justin Greening and her colleagues, in conjunction with other committed companies and academic institutions, through the #LevellingUpGoals structure to generate a beneficial influence on localities.

This partnership emerges at a critical juncture as Allwyn competes to secure the position of operator for the fourth UK National Lottery license. The current operator, Camelot, has overseen the UK National Lottery since its establishment in 1994.
