ACR Celebrates International Women’s Day with Charity Poker Tournament

ACR is holding a unique card game competition in honor of Women’s Day to fundraise for a deserving organization.

The contest, which will aid the Breast Cancer Assistance Fund, commences at 4:30 p.m. Eastern Time on Wednesday, the eighth of March. The Fund performs vital tasks by financing studies on breast cancer and offering assistance to individuals diagnosed with it. For instance, they aid individuals with expenses related to procedures like reconstructive operations, breast examinations, and child supervision.

The competition has a $55 entry fee, but all entrants will obtain a $55 competition voucher for a later event. ACR will also be generously equaling all funds gathered from the competition and contributing it to the Breast Cancer Assistance Fund. Therefore, it’s essentially a complimentary entry, but with an opportunity to acquire substantial funds! The prize fund is assured to be $10,000.

ACR Team Experts Katie Lindsay and Ebony Kenney will be broadcasting the event live on a streaming platform with Nicky Lomo and Caitlin Comeskey. They will discuss the significance of self-checks and provide guidance on performing them accurately.

This is actually the second time ACR has organized this competition to commemorate Women’s Day. The previous year’s event was a major triumph, generating over $15,000.

ACR pro Ebony Kenney expressed enthusiasm for the upcoming International Women’s Day celebration, remarking, “The previous year’s event was a major triumph for ACR, and I’m delighted to participate once more. Engaging in poker with such a remarkable group of women while championing a worthy endeavor? Absolutely! I’m privileged to be included in this encouraging and influential initiative for women in the poker realm.”
