A prominent online gaming company, Betsson, recently appointed Triston Smook to spearhead their affiliate marketing initiatives.
Smook’s objective? To drive users toward Betsson’s extensive collection of over 20 brands, maintaining strong relationships with affiliate collaborators and other vital stakeholders. He possesses nearly two decades of expertise within the iGaming sector. From overseeing affiliates and securing agreements to navigating the digital marketing realm and even managing risk, Smook has a comprehensive background.
Betsson is relying on his proficiency to elevate their brands internationally. This decision follows a record-setting third quarter for the organization, where they generated €200 million (roughly $199.6 million). While their total gaming revenue experienced a commendable 8% rise, it was the sports wagering segment that truly excelled. This area surged by an exceptional 45%, demonstrating a healthy profit margin of 8.4%.
This triumph is evident in Betsson’s overall financial well-being, with operating earnings climbing by 21% to €38.4 million. Their net earnings were not far behind at €32.6 million, and they benefited from a robust operating cash flow of €38.5 million. They even witnessed a 7% increase in active customers, surpassing 1 million.
Betsson’s CEO, Pontus Lindwall, aptly summarized, “There’s much to celebrate. This past quarter has been a whirlwind of expansion and robust earnings across the company.”
A premier gaming enterprise, Betsson, is marking an unprecedented financial period due to its flourishing sports wagering and internet casino sectors. The company is capitalizing on its achievements by purchasing a controlling interest (80%) in KickerTech, a maneuver intended to strengthen Betsson’s position in the profitable realm of business-to-business sports betting services. This calculated acquisition, executed through Betsson’s subsidiary for a substantial €14 million, grants them authority over TG Holdings Limited.
