Navigating Dutch Gaming Compliance: BetComply Launches ComplyCheck Tool

BetComply has introduced a novel instrument named ComplyCheck designed to assist licensed gaming providers in the Netherlands in adhering to the stringent regulatory mandates established by the Dutch Gaming Authority (KSA).

ComplyCheck merges self-evaluation and inspection functionalities. Providers respond to a sequence of inquiries and furnish supporting documentation, which is subsequently scrutinized by BetComply specialists. This aids in pinpointing any prospective zones of non-compliance and guarantees they remain current with the most recent directives.

The KSA is resolute in upholding these regulations. They lately imposed a fine exceeding €19.6 million on Gammix Limited for functioning without authorization. Furthermore, they released a study last year delineating the duty of care anticipated from licensed online gaming providers in the Netherlands, which will be a primary emphasis for the KSA in 2023.

Mike de Graaff, Chief Compliance Officer at BetComply, underscored the significance of proactive conformity, asserting that Dutch providers who are not meticulous face genuine repercussions. ComplyCheck presents a budget-friendly method to navigate these intricate prerequisites and mitigate the hazard of sanctions.

The sports integrity monitoring organization, Sportradar, recently released its annual report titled “Betting Corruption and Match-fixing in 2023,” which examines the landscape of manipulated athletic competitions.
