bet365 Secures Naming Rights to Stoke City’s Stadium

bet365 has acquired the stadium title rights for Stoke City Football Club.

Beginning next season, the Potters’ home pitch will be called the “bet365 Stadium.” The gaming corporation, owned by the Coates family, who also own Stoke City, inked a six-year agreement lasting through the 2021-22 season. bet365 will also remain the club’s jersey sponsor for a minimum of three more seasons.

Stoke City Chief Executive Tony Scholes remarked, “The Premier League is continuously developing, and it’s crucial that Stoke City Football Club optimize its business prospects to guarantee we stay in contention.”

“The Britannia Stadium sponsorship was concluding, and it was vital for us to secure a new stadium naming rights associate.”

“The Premier League has a global viewership, and bet365 is a genuinely international brand. We are thrilled to have established a stadium naming rights collaboration with them, initially for six years, in addition to prolonging our shirt sponsorship arrangement.”

“bet365 is now taking the place of Britannia, and I want to use this moment to express gratitude to Britannia and the Co-operative Bank for their incredible backing over the past 19 years.”

Our worldwide recognition has undoubtedly gained from backing Stoke City’s uniform,” remarked John Coates, Stoke City Vice Chairman and joint-CEO of bet365. “We’ve been aiming to broaden our athletic sponsorship holdings, and this arena entitlement agreement with Stoke City seemed like a logical choice, particularly with Stoke-on-Trent serving as bet365’s place of origin.”
