Caesars Entertainment Champions Sustainability and Employee Well-being in 2022 CSR Report

Caesars Entertainment recently published its 2022 Corporate Social Responsibility Report, demonstrating a fourteen-year dedication to openness and impactful initiatives.

The document showcased noteworthy accomplishments across five crucial areas: environmental stewardship, diversity and inclusion, employee development programs, staff well-being, and community involvement.

Essentially, Caesars is deeply committed to minimizing its environmental impact. They are concentrating on waste reduction, water conservation, and lowering those troublesome carbon emissions. Their ambitious objective? Reaching net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050! They are already making progress – in 2022, they significantly decreased water usage by 14% compared to 2019.

Diversity and inclusion are also paramount. Caesars is devoted to attaining gender and racial balance in management positions by 2025. And they are taking concrete steps: between 2020 and 2022, the representation of people of color in senior leadership roles increased dramatically by an astounding 106%.

However, it’s not solely about the environment and leadership – Caesars genuinely cares about its workforce’s future prospects as well. In July 2022, they introduced an exceptional new educational support program called “All-in On Education.” This program is revolutionary, providing employees with tuition aid, assistance with college savings plans, scholarship possibilities, debt relief choices, and access to affordable education. The program is clearly a success: since December 2022, an impressive 29.3% of employees have already enrolled and are utilizing the company’s education platform. Furthermore, 22 fortunate employees were granted scholarships of up to $20,000, and an additional 400 employees received a combined total of $1 million in tuition assistance. Now that’s investing in your people!

In the year 2022, Kaiser Permanente reinvested a substantial $81 million into the areas it supports. This noteworthy amount encompassed $65 million in legally mandated community support grants, $3.5 million allocated through the Kaiser Permanente Foundation, $1.6 million in contributed goods and services, and an admirable $2.4 million gathered by Kaiser Permanente staff who charitably donated their time.

However, Kaiser Permanente’s commitment didn’t cease there! Acknowledging the significance of their workforce, they initiated two fresh programs particularly crafted to elevate employee health and security. Furthermore, they strengthened their healthcare provisions and instituted a novel safety protocol to cultivate an even more secure setting for all.
